thats a great writeup. we all know it but yet we fall prey to these things. It does require a very careful insight in our relationships be them between husband - wife or between friends or relashins. the same rules apply to preserve a relationship. least but not the last, if one can set aside his ego "why me"? the things i am sure would be different than what the appear to be.

Really a good piece.
If we study the people's mind they are made in a way not to change but to accept i\things which they do not like but to avoid confrontation keep quite3. This uneasyness goes on piling up unknowingly and burst at one point which destructs the whole relationship.

There are social acceptance or non acceptance which mainly makes the relationship keep going; We can find lot of break of marriage in western culture while they also do not like it and do not know how to solve it. The people of eastern culture though not so much of break up of marrige still it is on the increase and it is because of adopting western type.

very important and valid points. I'm really very much proud to say that I use to follow these points(except 1st & 3rd points) most of the times. Thanks for the inputs. I'll concentrate on my weak points (resentment and over expectations) and succeed over them. Thanks a lot.

All the points are good and realistic. However, I will emphasis on communication most. Communication skill is very important and communication gap should not be there. It is my observation that communication gap is one of the root causes which turns a good relationship into a bad one.

Great stuff... with respect to the last bonus sin... at least you should know what it is you're being sorry for... some people say sorry and when you ask why are you sorry? or what are you apologising for? the answer is I don't know!.... then that just makes matters worse...

So ... guys, gals, please make sure you actually mean it when you say that you're sorry and know what went wrong too...
